OMG what a crazy and proud moment when they announced the Australian Shepherd Group as winners of the Progeny Group at EDS saturday!! Never in a million had I dreamed that it could be a possibility. Elin Landén suggested it when she had entered both Vixen and Samos, so we only needed another red merle Spy baby to join us luckily Martina from Fallcat agreed to let Maddox join us, so we had 3 babies and Spy, all red merle and ALL typical Spy babies. Since we all live in different countries, there was no rehearsing until the minutes before they started judging the breed. Well no rehearsing was great, and even twisted up with new handlers for Finals, because Elin also won the Breeders Group of the breed, so she was in prejudging when we entered the mainring for the finals. Felicia and sister Jasmine joined Nastia/Spy and Nikola/Maddox and they fucking won! We almost was not allowed to participate, because we were late and they had already finished the prejudging, but a kind soul called someone and let us through. The judge had a short look at them up/down and then it was time. Holy moly what a great memory! Thank you, thank you thank you to breeders owners and handlers that participated to this win! It is as much your win as mine.
